Alastair specialises in commercial real estate focusing on all aspects of landlord and tenant, development, acquisition and project finance work. His specialisation ranges across jurisdictions, mainly NSW, VIC and ACT.

Alastair acts for a range of clients across a variety of sectors providing succinct commercial advice to help clients achieve their goals.

Recently Alastair has advised a number of international clients in relation to their office space leases in Sydney and other states in Australia.

Alastair has a particular focus on advising financial institutions on a range of development finance and other lending issues. Alastair also has a number of government clients and advises them regularly on a range of issues covering all aspects of their property portfolio. A recent highlight was advising UrbanGrowth NSW in relation to their Bays Urban Transformation project.

His clients include various government entities, listed companies and trusts, fund managers, commercial landlords, non-property companies and banks and other financial institutions.

Prior to joining HDY, Alastair worked in London for over five years for a top tier real estate practice acting for a range of international clients. Alastair's experience included a range of landlord and tenant, development and acquisition work in a range of sectors, including student accommodation, retail and offices.
