Investment funds and regulatory expert joins HDY

Leading Australian law firm Henry Davis York (HDY), has appointed investment funds and regulatory expert, Matthew Farnsworth, Special Counsel in the firm’s Investments practice.
Matthew joins HDY from Herbert Smith Freehills and has over 15 years’ experience in the Australian legal sector, including expertise in the property funds sector, particularly in funds establishment, capital raisings and restructures.
He is ideally placed to help clients navigate ever-changing financial services regulation in the post-GFC landscape, particularly disclosure requirements and the regulation of complex financial products.
