Fast facts about Collective Investment Vehicles (CIVs)

The new CIV regime is a game-changer, with the potential to redefine and transform the Australian investment funds landscape.

We believe that the new CIV regime will:

  • enable Australian managers to market and offer innovative, competitive and passportable products
  • encourage foreign investment into Australia with globally recognisable fund structures
  • grow our exports of Australian funds management services.

We are closely monitoring developments and will provide updates as the design of the regime progresses. In the meantime, we've developed a CIV Fast Facts flyer that will prepare you for the proposed CIV regime.
