Tara in 60 seconds

Tara specialises in contentious insolvency and formal restructuring, with a particular focus on cross-border issues. She acts for stakeholders in relation to significant and complex exposures, and has extensive experience in both domestic proceedings as well as issues arising in key Southeast Asian jurisdictions.

Prior to re-joining HDY, Tara was based in Singapore, advising leading multinationals and international banks in connection with both formal insolvencies and out-of court reorganisations in the region. She has advised in relation to contentious recoveries of substantial exposures in jurisdictions including Indonesia, India, Vietnam and Singapore.

Tara previously worked as an Associate to a Judge of the Federal Court of Australia, and was one of the Australian contributors to the 2015 publication 'International Contributions to the Reform of Chapter 11 U.S. Bankruptcy Code.'
