Rachel specialises in infrastructure and construction projects. She advises government and private sector clients in relation to contentious and non-contentious matters.

Rachel acts for government and private sector including in respect of a rail PPP, commercial/residential developments, Commonwealth Government, major equipment supply contracts and operation and maintenance projects. She is experienced in reviewing, drafting and negotiating project-specific contract documentation, as well as tailoring Australian Standard contracts to suit client's risk appetite and project needs. Rachel also advises on scope definition, tender process and the administration of contracts.

Rachel advises clients in relation to project adopting various contract delivery methods, including design and construct, construct only, operation and maintenance, managing contractors, PPP and a number of consultancy and services agreements.

Rachel also advises clients in relation to litigated and non-litigated disputes, having acted for clients in construction and mining disputes including scope and variation claims, design, defect and delay claims and security of payment applications.
