Rachel advises on government commercial transactions, specialising in information and communications technology contracts, including hardware and software acquisitions, enterprise wide licensing, transformation and renewal projects.  She is experienced in all aspects of best practice contracting in government and regularly advises on tendering and procurement.

Rachel's credentials include an extended secondment with Department of Defence's Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG) advising on IT contracts and leading negotiations on behalf of CIOG with some of Defence's top-tier vendors. She also worked in-house at the Department of Finance and has considerable experience advising in relation to the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, financial management legislation and procurement policies.
