Music-Industry

Acted for three related music-industry defendants in contract, trade practices, breach of fiduciary duties and commercial tort proceedings brought by a Canadian multinational in the Federal Court of Australia Fast Track, Melbourne registry.

Sydney Airport Corporation

Acted for Sydney Airport Corporation in a dispute against a Commonwealth Minister in the AAT and Federal Court.

Westpac Banking Corporation

Acted for Westpac Banking Corporation in a negligence dispute against a valuer of two rural properties in the Supreme Court of New South Wales concerning more than $750,000.

Private Sector Stakeholders

Acted for private sector stakeholders in Supreme Court of New South Wales proceedings concerning the ownership and control of a $15 million prestige commercial property.

Former General Manager

Acted for a former General Manager in the ICAC enquiry Operation Magnus. This concerned extensive allegations of corruption by numerous individuals employed by Burwood Local Council.

Former Executives of Sydney Water

Acted for two former executives of Sydney Water in the ICAC enquiries Operation Credo and Operation Spicer. This concerned allegations of corruption against people connected with Australian Water Holdings, as well as the impact of numerous commercial and political activities on elected officials.

Minority Shareholders

Acted for a group of minority shareholders in a complex shareholder dispute concerning the control of a construction company with assets in the order of $10 million.

Overseas Investment Companies

Acted for five overseas investment companies in tax proceedings concerning tax residency and capital/revenue issues concerning amounts in excess of $25 million.

Advising RMS NSW in relation to risks arising from land contaminated with waste products and negotiating settlements.s in the Federal Court of Australia arising out of diesel emissions.
