Candy acts for Australia's major banks, insolvency practitioners and multinational corporations. She advises her clients on a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious matters relating to corporate insolvency and restructuring, cross-border recovery and enforcement, protection of assets, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance.

Since joining the firm, Candy has advised on cross-border insolvencies with significant exposure, complex disputes involving potential white collar crimes as well as bank remediation projects. She has also worked in-house on a large-scale remediation program in the financial services industry. She is currently on secondment advising on a variety of legal issues relating to business banking and remediation projects.

Candy is dual-qualified having been admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong. She is fluent in Chinese and Japanese.

International Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Candy practised as a litigation solicitor in Hong Kong for a number of years. She has extensive experience in conducting legal proceedings in both English and Chinese and representing clients at mediations.
