Henry Davis York is well known for its collaborative and collegiate culture. By being experts, enterprising and working collaboratively as a team, we achieve the very best for our clients, our people and our community.
We appreciate we do not operate in isolation. We have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to our community, including our people, our clients, the legal profession, the wider community and the environment. We see it as part of our responsibility as a law firm and a business to actively respond to that opportunity.
At HDY our Responsible Business program is built on four pillars – pro bono, community, indigenous engagement and environmental sustainability.
Our people want to be part of a firm that makes a positive contribution to the community, and they want to play a part in making that contribution. We encourage all our people to participate, in our pro bono, volunteering, charitable and environment activities.
HDY is an executive member of the Australian Legal Sector Alliance (AusLSA), an alliance of law firms promoting sustainable business practices across the legal sector. Through our membership of AusLSA, we aim to promote the role of the legal sector in contributing positively to the broader community.
