Sarah advises institutional clients in relation to restructuring their exposures to distressed corporate groups as well as advising hedge funds and institutional special situation groups in relation to distressed opportunities. Sarah also has experience in advising banking and corporate clients in relation to syndicated and bilateral facilities.
Sarah's recent work includes:
- Acting for the mezzanine lenders to the I-Med group of companies; providing restructuring and strategic advice to the mezzanine lenders in respect of the restructuring negotiations with the senior lender group, the company and the sponsor and documenting this complex restructuring.
- Advising a syndicate of seven banks on their exposure to the AET&D group which held significant interests in major gas and electricity infrastructure assets around Australia and providing strategic advice in relation to the restructure and ultimate sale of the secured assets.
- Documenting and advising subordinated noteholders in respect of a negotiated standstill to facilitate the restructure of the subordinated debt through a market first exchange offer.
- Advising the senior syndicate in relation to the restructuring of Babcock & Brown providing on-going strategic and general advice in relation to this restructuring, including the trading of the debt, the sale of the assets and the winding down of the global business.
