Sarah practises in the area of environmental law, advising a broad range of clients including public sector agencies and major corporations across a number of industry sectors such as waste, manufacturing, transport and property development.

Sarah has expertise in contaminated land and remediation law. She drafts and advises clients on environmental deeds and remediation agreements apportioning liability for contamination and remediation between various parties. Sarah also advises and drafts complex warranty, limitations and indemnity protection clauses and other contractual protection clauses for a variety of agreements with associated environmental issues.

Clients seek Sarah's pollution law expertise to provide specialist and strategic advice on water, land and air pollution incidents. She acts for clients in all forms of environmental and planning litigation, and has conducted significant environmental litigation, including court appearance work in the Land and Environment Court, Supreme Court and Federal Court.

Sarah has extensive knowledge of the major development approval process and the inter-relationship between environment and planning laws. Her depth of experience advising clients through this process includes acting for several government agencies and corporations on major developments as well as several key critical infrastructure projects.
