Senior Associate

Mark has broad banking litigation experience and has been involved in a range of matters on behalf of banks. His experience includes acting in fraud recovery proceedings, conducting complex multi-party litigation arising out of the collapse of companies and co-operatives, and defending proceedings involving challenges to security documentation, as well as negligence and breach of duty claims.

Mark also advises secured lenders and creditors in the areas of debt recovery, security enforcement, voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangement, receiverships, liquidations and bankruptcies.

Through in-house experience, Mark has a strong appreciation of the challenges to face legal teams within the banking sector. He was recently on secondment to a major Australian bank, where he acted in an impaired loans management role.

Mark regularly presents to clients in relation to developments in the areas of insolvency and general banking law.
