Kate specialises in equity capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reconstructions along with general corporate, compliance and governance advice. Kate also has a background in funds management.
During her career, Kate has acted for issuers and underwriters on IPOs, placements, rights issues and other capital raisings. She has advised on takeovers and corporate reconstructions, including schemes of arrangement, capital reductions and buy-backs. Kate has also worked on a large number of private business and share acquisitions.
Kate has particular experience advising on employee and non-executive equity schemes for listed and unlisted companies, including for MM Mining Limited, Mirvac Group, Perpetual Trustees, PMI Mortgage, CMA Corporation, Eureka and a number of offshore clients.
Kate regularly advises on corporate governance and compliance with the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules including submissions to the Takeovers Panel and on commercial contracts including supply and distribution arrangements.
