Karen advises banks and other financial institutions, corporate borrowers, corporate trustees and public sector bodies across a broad range of finance transactions.
Karen has acted for key financiers in structuring and documenting corporate finance, structured finance, property finance, project finance and acquisition finance transactions. Karen has also advised financiers in connection with the restructure of existing facilities to distressed companies and the documentation of standstill and workout arrangements.
Karen's recent experience includes acting for the lender on an $A28 million bridge facility to assist a German fund manager in the establishment of its first Australian property fund, providing Australian law advice to a lending syndicate in connection with a €75 million acquisition finance facility to fund the takeover of a listed Australian mining company, and acting for an Australian corporate trustee and registrar in connection with a $A1.68 billion exchangeable bond issue to fund capital costs in connection with a LNG project in Papua New Guinea.
