Jason is the practice leader of Henry Davis York's pre-eminent banking, restructuring and insolvency practice and is an expert in insolvency, securities enforcement, fraud and debt recovery. He has more than 17 years' experience acting for banks and financial institutions in these types of matters.
Jason acts for Australia's largest banks, financial services institutions and corporations in the areas of security enforcement and debt recovery, including receiverships, the enforcement of real property mortgages, guarantees and other securities, workouts, enforcement of rural securities and farm debt mediation, banker and customer disputes, cheque disputes and fraud.
He also acts for insolvency administrators and bankruptcy trustees, creditors and directors in relation to corporate and personal insolvencies, including liquidations, voluntary administrations and bankruptcies.
Jason has acted in a number of high profile corporate administrations across a range of industries such as property development, retail, manufacturing, information technology and communications, automotive, aviation and rural. He is known for his ability to strategically guide his clients through the most complex and challenging of insolvencies and to achieve commercial outcomes which are highly valued by his clients.
