Janine advises on commercial litigation matters in all jurisdictions including the Supreme Court, District Court and Federal Court.
Janine acts for companies, partnerships and individuals in relation to claims across various industries including contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, recovery of outstanding debts and construction disputes. She has also acted for clients involved in regulatory investigations conducted by ASIC and APRA and regularly advises clients on a range of general commercial issues.
Janine's experience includes acting for investors in relation to claims against financial advisers, and advising banks in relation to alleged negligent valuations of residential and commercial property. She has also acted in relation to various partnership and corporate management disputes, and has recently completed a lengthy reference hearing before an expert referee in relation to a construction dispute.
Janine is also experienced in forms of alternative dispute resolution and has assisted clients in a number of mediations to resolve disputes through a commercial and practical process.
