Greta practises in the area of insurance litigation on behalf of government entities such as NSW Police and NSW Health.
Greta has extensive experience in insurance litigation with a focus on common law negligence, public liability and property damage claims. She represents clients such as Westpac Banking Corporation, Westpac General Insurance, CommInsure, QBE and CGU.
Recently, Greta has acted on the defence of negligence claims for the NSW Police and NSW Health. Greta's experience also includes the defence of intentional tort claims on behalf of the NSW Police and claims by officers of the NSW Police Force for benefits under the statutory compensation superannuation scheme for on-duty injuries.
Greta has a good understanding of the needs and objectives of both her public and private sector clients in relation to both unlitigated and litigated claims. She prides herself on her case management and effective use of mediation to achieve early and cost effective resolutions.
