Greg practises in the area of insurance and public liability litigation on behalf of government entities such as NSW Police, Roads and Traffic Authority of NSW (RTA) and RailCorp.
Greg has acted in a variety claims in the District and Supreme Court for the NSW Police and was seconded to the liability litigation section of the RTA's legal department in 2009 to assist in the management and defence of numerous claims against the RTA. He provided advice to the RTA in relation to common law claims for personal injury and property damage, including advice on statutory defences available to the public authorities under Part V Civil Liability Act, the scope of subpoenas issued on the RTA, appropriate responses to applications for preliminary discovery, and the identification of potential claims for contribution and/or reliance on contractor arranged insurance.
Greg has also practised in insurance litigation for five years, with a particular focus on public liability, general insurance, construction and property damage claims, representing clients such as GIO General Ltd, QBE, CGU, Enstar, CommInsure General Insurance and Westpac General Insurance.
