Georgina has over five years' experience in corporate advisory and financial services work, acting for listed and unlisted companies across a range of industries. Her practice includes public takeover transactions (including off-market bids, capital reductions, buy-backs and flip-ups), preparation of commercial contracts, shareholder meeting documentation and offer documentation (including prospectuses), due diligence exercises and advising on directors' duties and corporate governance issues.
Georgina's recent experience includes advising a listed financial services company on its capital raising requirements and shareholder meeting obligations, as well as advising a listed healthcare company on capital raising requirements and the preparation of offer documentation. She also recently advised a foreign bank in relation to Australian takeovers laws, and acted for an investment adviser and manager in relation to directors' duties and corporate governance issues.
Through in-house experience, Georgina has a strong appreciation of the challenges to face legal teams within the financial services industry.
