George has represented clients on a variety of mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, corporate restructures and general commercial and business transactions. He regularly advises public and private companies in respect of Corporations Act issues, ASX issues, directors' and officers' duties and company constitutions.
George's recent experience includes acting for:
- the receivers and managers of ABC Learning on the sale of over 1,000 ABC learning and childcare centres in Australia;
- RMB Australia (trading as MotorOne Finance) in relation to sale of its substantial Australian automotive loan portfolio to BMW Australia Finance;
- a private equity firm in relation to its equity investment in large portfolio of childcare centres;
- an Australian property manager on the sale of its property management business to a publicly listed company; and
- Harmony Capital in respect of its investment in an Australian publicly listed company.
