Esther specialises in funds management and financial services. She regularly advises Australian and global institutional and boutique fund managers, service providers and product issuers on all aspects of their businesses.
Esther has experience in advising leading Australian and global managers on the establishment, structure, promotion and marketing of onshore and offshore investment vehicles for retail and wholesale investors. This includes drafting disclosure documents, constituent documents and negotiating investment management / advisory agreements, administration agreements, custody and prime brokerage agreements with service providers. She also advises on the ongoing maintenance, restructuring and liquidation of investment entities.
Esther has expertise in advising financial services providers and fund managers on business establishments, Financial Services regime, Australian financial services licensing, Anti-Money Laundering issues and trading-related issues.
In addition to Australian and global equity funds, Esther has strong interest and experience in local and offshore alternative investments such as hedge funds, derivative funds and private equity funds. She recently advised on several new fund establishments and restructurings.
