Elena is an experienced adviser to international investment banks and other corporate and financial institutions on listed and over-the-counter derivative products, particularly on equity and fund derivatives. She also regularly advises hedge fund managers on all aspects of prime brokerage, derivatives and other trading agreements.
Elena's recent experience includes advising:
- institutional clients on financial services regulatory issues and contract-for-difference issuers on disclosure documentation including product disclosure statements and customer agreements
- funds, banks and other corporate and financial institutions on trading agreements including Custody Agreements, Futures & Options Terms of Business, Master Netting Agreements, ISDA Master Agreements (including Credit Support Annex and/or Credit Support Deed) and repo and stock loan documentation
- providing analysis on prime brokerage arrangements with major prime brokers, including new prime brokerage models
- advising US and European hedge fund managers on issues relating to the insolvency of Lehman Brothers (International) Europe (in administration).
She has also worked on a number of asset repackaging transactions and structured product transactions.
