Dora has diverse experience acting for insurers, banks, receivers and large corporations. She advises on commercial insurance and reinsurance issues and disputes, professional indemnity, directors' and officers' insurance and insurance litigation. Prior to joining Henry Davis York, Dora practised in the litigation and dispute resolution group of a national law firm, specialising in medical indemnity.
Dora regularly advises on a broad range of insurance issues including fraud, indemnity, dual insurance and the interpretation of various policies. She has acted for numerous insurance companies as well as medical defence organisations and banks.
Dora has also provided insurance advice to the receivers of ABC Learning Centres, and is providing ongoing advice to the Asbestos Injuries Compensation Fund with respect to reinsurance recoveries concerning insurance policies held by James Hardie.
Dora is an experienced insurance litigator, with experience in alternative dispute resolution methods.
