As a knowledge management (KM) specialist, Cristina provides a Helpdesk service to resolve difficult or unusual issues that arise in the day-to-day conduct of property matters. She supports the firm's property lawyers, updating them on legal and industry developments, preparing key documentation, mentoring and generally supporting their transaction-based work. She also develops and presents legal education sessions.
Cristina has broad experience advising on all aspects of property law for commercial developers, landlords, tenants, vendors and purchasers. She has advised on all stages of commercial, retail and residential development, from acquisition to sale, and has managed conveyancing, leasing and other property-related transactions.
Cristina has applied her property experience to the design of matter management tools for leasing and mortgagee sales. More recently, she has designed and implemented project management software to drive efficiency, target risk management issues and manage a large team of lawyers working on complex property transactions.
Cristina was a lecturer in Property and Commercial Practice at the College of Law. She also played a significant role in writing and designing the College of Law's online materials. Cristina's interests include multi-jurisdictional conveyancing and leasing practice.
