Anne has many years of experience in the financial services industry, specialising in superannuation. She brings a practical and commercial approach to her practice, through many years in-house at a leading superannuation and investment consultancy firm.
Anne has advised in relation to public sector, public offer and corporate superannuation funds and group life and income protection insurance. Her clients include trustees and corporate sponsors of funds, and service providers to the financial services industry.
She has assisted financial services providers to develop structures and products that improve efficiencies and reduce complexity, particularly in circumstances where the structure includes a superannuation fund. Recent experience relevant to super fund operations includes drafting, negotiating and advising in relation to outsourcing contracts such as investment management, custody, group life insurance and administration contracts, and acting on outsourced contract disputes, advising trustees in relation to complaints from superannuation members, including death and disablement and family law matters, and advising in relation to unit pricing and disclosure and other compliance matters.
Anne has acted for both employers and trustees in relation to fund mergers and successor fund and "with consent" transfers.
