Shane Martins
Shane heads our Property, Environmental and Projects group and practises extensively in the areas of commercial property and corporate real estate, property development, funds management and major projects.
He has particular experience in large sales and acquisitions, structured property/capital markets transactions, drafting and negotiation of joint venture and project agreements, drafting and negotiation of major retail, commercial and industrial leases, land subdivisions and developments and property mortgages, charges and finance-related documents.
Shane's clients include funds managers and other investors, statutory authorities, banks, receivers and managers, liquidators and developers.
Shane recently led the team advising the developer/operator in connection with BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer) agreement with Auckland City Council governing the construction of the A$80 million multi-use entertainment centre the Auckland City Arena.
