Roger Dobson
Roger advises banks and other creditors with exposure to companies experiencing financial stress. His work includes assisting in the restructure of loans to distressed companies and advising lenders generally of their rights in respect of problem loans.
Recent examples of Roger's work include:

Acting for the 25 Bank Syndicate in relation to the restructure of loans to Babcock & Brown;

Acting for the Banking Syndicate regarding the collapse of A.B.C. Learning Group Limited; and

Advising individual Banks and Bank Syndicates in respect of the restructure or collapse of Allco Finance Group, Commander Communications and Goodman Group Limited.
Roger is a part-time lecture in Debt Financing which is part of the Sydney University Law School Master of Laws course.
Roger is a member of INSOL International, a global association of insolvency practitioners, and of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
He is described as "a Leading Individual" in Banking and Finance by The Asia Pacific Legal 500 2008/2009 and is recognised as a "Recommended Individual" in the 2009 edition of PLC Which Lawyer? for Banking: lenders and borrowers.
