Rebecca Whittle
Rebecca heads our Risk and Insurance group and has specialised in insurance law for over 13 years.
Her expertise covers professional indemnity, directors and officers liability, life insurance and total and permanent disability claims, reinsurance and public and product liability. Her clients are mainly professional indemnity and directors and officers insurers.
Rebecca regularly advises on issues of policy, wording and interpretation. She is proactive in the settlement of disputes and has participated in numerous mediations.
Rebecca has recently acted for a former insurance company director subject to an ASIC civil penalty prosecution and is presently acting for a director of a former significant corporation entity the subject of complex civil proceedings.
Rebecca is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA).
