Pamela Flynn

Pamela has specialised in workplace relations since 1998 and is an accredited specialist in employment and industrial law with the Law Society of New South Wales. Pamela has experience in advising employers in a range of different industries, including manufacturing, sugar, gaming, retail, fitness, insurance and hospitality.

Pamela’s areas of practice include:

  • advice on termination of employment and redundancy matters and defending unfair dismissal and unlawful dismissal (including modern awards) claims
  • interpretation of workplace agreements and awards
  • industrial disputes and union rights of entry
  • transfer of business issues
  • discrimination complaints, including sexual harassment and bullying complaints
  • drafting enterprise agreements
  • drafting and enforcing restraint of trade covenants and providing advice on protecting confidential information
  • drafting contracts of employment and company policies and procedures
  • providing training to human resources teams and senior managers on issues such as harassment and bullying in the workplace and key issues of the "Fair Work" legislation
  • occupational health and safety, including defending WorkCover prosecutions.

Pamela works with clients to understand and achieve their desired objectives and to minimise the risk of litigation. However, when litigation is necessary, Pamela has the skills and experience to effectively represent clients and their interests. Pamela regularly appears as an advocate on behalf of her clients.
