Michael Greene
Michael heads our Commercial Disputes group and practises in the area of commercial dispute resolution and has over 15 years' experience. He acts for public and private sector clients advising them on disputes concerning contracts, tendering and procurement, fraud, freight and shipping, intellectual property, directors and shareholders, corporate governance and issues concerning privilege and confidentiality.
Michael's experience covers all state and federal jurisdictions and includes representing clients at mediations.
Recently, he acted for a State-owned corporation in relation to an ICAC inquiry and for a major State government authority in a dispute concerning a substantial piece of public infrastructure, and has also recently successfully defended the intellectual property rights of a major fresh flower producer in the Federal Court.
Michael is a member of LEADR (Lawyers Engaged in Alternative Dispute Resolution) and is an Associate Member of the Association of Fraud Examiners, an international organisation consisting of members of the fraud enforcement community. Michael has delivered papers at several fraud conferences.
