Henry Davis

Henry practises in commercial property, associated commercial contracts and planning law and has more than 20 years' experience.

He advises fund managers, financial institutions, corporations, government, developers and investors on property transactions of all types and on a wide range of legal matters affecting commercial property.

His practice includes advising on acquisitions and disposals of all types of commercial property, joint venture and development agreements, co-owner agreements, subdivisions, developments, property leasing of all types and related stamp duty and GST issues.

Henry's recent experience includes the joint acquisition of 1 Market Street, Sydney, the sale of Nauru House, Melbourne, the acquisition of regional shopping centres for a wholesale property fund, the sale of the James Hardie Industrial Property Portfolio, the sale of the Mercure Hotel on Broadway and the Ritz Carlton Double Bay, the acquisition of development sites, the acquisition of an interest in the trust developing two CBD office towers and the development of government-owned land at Eastern Creek.

Henry is a member of the Property Council of Australia, a past Managing Partner of the firm and a past Chairman of Partners.
