Many people wouldn't expect a law firm to pursue corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a primary business strategy.  This is not the case for HDY. For several years we have been developing our CSR initiatives towards integrated Sustainability, which includes robust stakeholder engagement, reporting, management systems, performance and assurance.

So why should Sustainability matter to us at Henry Davis York?

We choose to do it because it is an intrinsically important endeavour. It is important to our employees, it is important to our clients and it is important to us.

Sustainability captures and expresses our values and our culture.

We don’t have to report on our triple bottom line performance, be answerable at shareholder meetings or engage in other forms of public accountability. However, we choose to embrace Sustainability as a reflection upon who we are, how we do business and what we hold ourselves accountable for.
