Ben Mortimer
Ben advises Australian and overseas based clients, largely in the private equity sphere, on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital raisings, corporate restructurings and service and supply arrangements.
Recent matters on which Ben has acted include the sale of a significant automotive loan portfolio, the acquisition of the leases and aged care operations of 39 residential aged care homes in Australia, the sale of a coal mine in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales and a gold mine in Gympie, Queensland, the acquisition of a fertiliser business in Western Australia, the sale of a printing business in New South Wales, acquisitions of engineering consulting businesses in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, establishment of a joint venture to mine and process silica in Tasmania and the sale and subsequent outsourcing of IT development services.
