Andrew Copping

Andrew advises public and private sector clients on goods and services arrangements, tendering and procurement, major projects, joint ventures and share and asset sales.

Andrew applies his 14 years' experience in working closely with his clients to pro-actively identify risks and clearly and commercially address those risks in contractual documentation.

Recent matters on which Andrew has acted include:

  • drafting expression of interest and request for proposal documentation for a NSW state owned corporation for two significant infrastructure projects, including providing probity related advice
  • providing ongoing advice on the complex project documentation for two road projects for the Roads & Traffic Authority of NSW, including in relation to construction, operational and control considerations
  • negotiating and documenting multi-billion dollar long term fuel supply agreements for Woolworths
  • drafting and negotiating asset and share sale agreements across a range of industries, specialising in receiver/administrator sales

Andrew has recently presented seminars on NSW Government tendering and dealing effectively with contract variations.
